I just dont know how to reset the code since its permanent so i will try your way with disconnecting the wire to tb and then resetting. Seems to be unusual that TB is defect on this cars since nobody has put anything on forums. I am assuming that you have manual gearbox. Renault also use that fault code for an auto box problem. What was fault code description from your tools? The suggestion that you try to erase fault with TB disconnected was not a solution but for diagnosis.

Sorry about the delay guys been busy with a few other jobs, checked the compressions yesterday which wasnt the best No4 psi and the rest about psi but managed to get her started on a lil brake clean then clip registered No3 injector fault swapped injector to No2 cylinder to confirm fault with injector. I electricaly tested all the injectors with multimeter and were reading correct but obviously not a good way to diagniose injectors.

I changed the fuel pump on the van last week and the van started and ran for 15 mins then would not start again. Turned out another garage had been at it before me and had replaced the crank sensor but had not pushed it fully home was stuck at the rubber seal. Fitted it correctly and now starting fine.

The faulty one was leaking at high pressure and thus output was about half what it should be, only thing is they said it was a non starter I stripped and re-built the pump and cured that fault, sad thing is when they fit it It still won't start!!
